2. What Data Yokto Collects

Yokto is a local time tracker for macOS. All data you create — clients, projects, time entries, notes, settings — is stored exclusively on your Mac inside the app’s macOS sandbox container. No data is transmitted to JPKD UG servers.

Yokto contains no third-party SDKs for tracking, advertising, or analytics.

3. iCloud Backup and Sync (optional)

If you choose to, you can back up your data or sync it across your devices using your own iCloud account. In that case the data is processed by Apple in accordance with Apple’s privacy policy; Apple acts as an independent controller in this respect. JPKD UG has no access to this data.

4. Diagnostics and Usage Data via the App Store

Yokto itself does not collect or transmit any diagnostics or usage data.

Separately, Apple provides developers with general statistics in aggregated, anonymized form through the App Store (for example, the number of downloads). If you have enabled sharing analytics with app developers in macOS System Settings under “Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements,” Apple may additionally provide us with anonymized crash reports.

This data is collected by Apple and shared with us. It cannot be attributed to an individual, is used solely to improve the stability and quality of the app, and is never used for advertising or cross-device tracking. You can turn off sharing at any time in System Settings.

5. Required-Reason APIs

Yokto uses several macOS system APIs (UserDefaults for settings, file timestamps for backups, available-storage queries to calculate backup size, system boot time for timer operations). This usage follows Apple’s approved reasons and serves the app’s functionality only. None of these APIs is used to build a device fingerprint or to track users. 6. Your Rights

Because Yokto transmits no personal data to JPKD UG, we hold no personal data to which rights of access, rectification, or erasure (Art. 15–18 GDPR) could apply. You can view, export (CSV export), and delete the data stored in the app yourself at any time.

7. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if app features or legal requirements change. The current version is always available at this URL.
